Return Policy

At Teccess, our return policy aims to ensure your satisfaction with your purchases, offering an easy-to-understand process. Most items can be returned within 30 days of purchase without any restocking fee, provided they are complete and in resalable condition.

When processing a return, we ask three questions:

  1. Is the item returnable? Certain items, such as completed labor, shipping fees, special-order items, and more, cannot be returned due to copyright laws, health concerns, or practical reasons.

  2. How long has it been since the purchase? Different items have different return windows, with some eligible for return within 14 days and others within 30 days.

  3. Has the item been opened? Depending on whether the item has been opened and its condition, different refund options apply, including full refunds, restocking fees, or refunds in the form of a Teccess gift card.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method or a Teccess gift card. Card refunds require the cardholder to be present for security purposes, and refunds may take up to 10 business days to reflect in your account statement. For debit card refunds over a certain limit or cash payments over $100, a cheque will be mailed to you within 5-7 business days.

Privacy & Safety

The content, including information, artwork, text, video, audio, data, software, formatting, branding, and images on Teccess ("Materials"), is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Access to and use of the Materials is permitted solely for personal or educational purposes. You may print Materials from the website for personal or educational use, ensuring that any original copyright notice is retained in all copies. Your use of the Materials is restricted to private, non-commercial purposes, and you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions, along with all other relevant terms, notices, and laws. Teccess reserves the right to terminate this permission to use the Materials at any time. You acknowledge and agree that you have no right to modify, copy, reproduce, create derivative works, alter, enhance, or exploit the Materials in any manner.

For clarity, but not limited to, you may not:

  • Publish, publicly perform, display, or distribute any Materials to third parties, including reproduction on computer networks, broadcast, or media publications.

  • Market, sell, or commercially utilize the Materials.

  • Collect and use data or content systematically, including through data mining, robots, or similar methods.

  • Create derivative works from or utilize the site or Materials in derivative ways.

  • Employ electronic data transfer techniques to access or download text, images, or other data from Teccess for display on domains other than Teccess.

Warranty Policy

Troubleshooting Software Or Hardware?

When encountering issues with software or hardware, the initial step is typically reaching out to the original manufacturer.

As no manufacturer can test their products in every scenario, occasional conflicts may arise with other products or software. In such cases, manufacturers often release software fixes in response to reported problems.

Before seeking support from Teccess, it's advisable to first check with the original manufacturer. It's a step we commonly take, and often, you can swiftly resolve issues independently. We encourage clients to regularly check the manufacturer's website for upgrades and ensure they have the latest operating software version installed.

Our Store Support Policy Includes:

  • Complimentary in-store and phone support for products purchased from us, though this is provided on a best-effort basis as our staff may not be experts on all products.

  • Assistance with the manufacturer's warranty during the first year, where we will either conduct authorized repairs or facilitate communication with the manufacturer.

  • After the initial year, we'll provide contact details, but customers are responsible for directly contacting the manufacturer and covering associated shipping and handling costs.

Our Store Support Policy Does Not Include:

  • Replacing products or refunding money outside our stated return policy.

  • Free support for products not purchased from us.

  • Peripheral support for subsequent third-party purchases.

  • Free installation and configuration of peripherals.

Warranty Provisions:

Teccess Computing is not liable for damages, including loss of time, savings, property, data, or profits, associated with our services. Customers assume certain risks related to manufacturer warranties.

Manufacturer's Warranties:

Manufacturer warranties apply to products and typically exclude coverage for software or data loss, program conflicts or bugs, and may have limitations on long or lifetime warranties.

Computer Warranties:

New computers come with at least a one-year limited warranty on parts and labor. Exceptions and additional details apply for Apple products, for which we are an Authorized Apple Service Provider.

Apple Product Warranty:

Apple products are covered by the manufacturer's one-year parts and labor warranty. We facilitate service for Apple products within the warranty period, but clients can also deal directly with Apple.

​

Warranty Notes:

Warranty covers defective hardware only, with other services charged at shop rates. Apple's system software fixes involve resetting computers to factory settings, potentially resulting in data loss.

​

Warranty On Apple-Authorized Service:

Labor and parts are covered for 90 days under Apple-authorized service. Software is not covered.
